Welcome to the “Karaoke Machines” section! We offer a complete range of up-to-date Karaoke machines, which play all popular Karaoke formats, DVD, CD+G, VCD and MIDI Karaoke discs. Each machine is uniquely designed, incorporating all features necessary for singing. The design standard and feature requirements are the results of customers' feedback gathered throughout the years. (e.g. One of the unique design features is that all important singing functions can be operated on the front panel as well as the remote control. Therefore, in case you lose your remote control, you can still operate your machine on the front panel!) All machines are manufactured under our direct supervision and quality tested under our own QC team. We are sure that one of our models will suit your singing needs. Throughout the years, Karaoke formats have been updated with time, in keeping with the rapid advance of electronic and computing technologies; from audio tape, VHS tape, Laser Disc, compression VCD disc, CD+Graphics disc, DVD, song chip and now the MIDI disc format. In the year 2005, we are proud to present 3 new models of Karaoke Machines: DVOK-8028K, HKD-3028 and HKD-3018.

This machine is a DVD Player and is also a Karaoke Singing Machine. Where is it made? It is designed here in Canada. All design requirements are specified by Home Karaoke in Canada but software programming and electronic engineering works are employed in Korea. When playing the Midi Disc, you see in the video background tulip flowers, maple leaf, Canadian flag, Niagara Fall, City Hall and other scenic spots in Canada. It plays your DVD movies (All Regions) with all DVD functions. It also plays your VCD Karaoke and CD+G Karaoke discs. What’s the difference between VCD and CD+G? Please refer to section “Want to Know about Karaoke?”. It also plays MP3 music discs. Can play over 30,000 songs In addition, it also plays a special MIDI disc (optional) which is recorded with more than 30,000 songs, of which 5,000 are English, 2,000 Filipino, 3,000 Vietnamese, 4,000 Spanish, 10,000 Chinese, 5,000 Korea, 2,000 Russian and 600 Japanese. All songs recorded on this Midi disc are without VOCAL GUIDE but with a MELODY GUIDE, which can be turned off for most of the songs. However, if you really want to have a vocal guide for a particular song or in case the song you want is not in the disc, it is advised you play a VCD Karaoke disc which is normally recorded with a vocal, in Multiplex. Scoring System No matter whether you sing from the Midi disc or from a VCD or a CD+G Karaoke disc, you can also get a score after singing. But do note that the score is by no means a judgement! It is just for fun! Important Features: MUSIC VOLUME, KEY, TEMPO, MELODY and PROGRAM can be easily operated To sing from the Midi disc, first select your song from a Song Book. Each song is assigned a song title number. Just press the number on the Remote and your song will play. For each song, there is a MELODY GUIDE, no VOCAL GUIDE. If you know the song, you may remove the melody by pressing “MELODY” on the Remote for most of the songs. While you are singing, you can also adjust the KEY (Pitch) and TEMPO (speed) of the song. While playing a song, you can use the PROGRAM function to queue up the next song to be played out. You may program up to 99 songs. Program function can be operated both on the Remote and on the Front Panel. Ideal for DJ’s or as a host for your party! Long Time playing? No Problem! Both machines play DVD movies (All codes), CD+G, VCD, CD, MP3/E-picture, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, CD-R and CD-RW.
Being a DVD Player It is complete with DVD features: Dolby Digital, AC-3, DTS, 5.1 Channel Surround, Optical, Coaxial digital audio outputs, Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr, S-Video and VGA Progressive Scan outputs.
Being a Karaoke Machine It is complete with full Karaoke functions: 2 Mic Inputs, Digital Echo, Key Control, Multiplex (Voice Cancel & Vocal Partner) functions.
How to turn on your microphone? To avoid electric or static shock that may be caused by amplifier with high power output, it is specially designed that the microphone can only be turned on when a disc is being played or by the Echo Switch on the front panel.
How
is the Echo Quality? The reverberation is specially designed
to give you High Quality Echo Effect for singing enjoyment.
Can I Record and Playback my singing? The two models also offer enhanced
quality for recording and playback of your singing with VCD Karaoke
disc (Approx. 2 minutes). This is a wonderful and important function
for you to practice singing!
The Front Panel and Outlook As a safety feature, the front panel of both models are made of aluminium (Fire resistant).
However, the outlook and design of their front panels are different.
For HKD-3018, it is super slim (40mm), for its elegant outlook. Apart from Key Control and Direct Song Search, all other Karaoke functions can be operated on the front panel. The volume of both microphones is controlled by the same button on the front panel.
For
HKD-3028, it is 55mm high. All important Karaoke functions
can be operated on the front panel, including Key Control, MPX(Multiplex),
PBC and Direct Song Search. The volume of the two microphones
is controlled by two separate buttons. In case the Remote
Control is mislaid, lost or damaged, the Karaoke singing party can still
go on!

is Magic Mic?
Magic Mic is a general term. It refers to the kind of Jukebox type Karaoke
system in the form of a microphone. All singing features, including “Scoring” are built-in in the microphones. Songs are built-in
in chips. There’s no need for discs. It’s portable! You
carry it anywhere and sing anywhere. It’s meant to be handy and
